ABSTRACT

The aim of this article is to reconstruct the lexical meaning of the word “learn”, through linguistic representations made by an audience of ten Colombian FSL teachers and the semantic of argumentative potentials (SAP), as an approach in discourse analysis. We will first construct the argumentative dimension of the word using the 4 levels proposed by the SPA: The core (semantic categorization features), the stereotypes (blocks of internal argumentation), the argumentative potentials (blocks of external argumentation) and the discourse deployments (the argumentative sequences). The above-mentioned components will be validated with the help of a questionnaire which includes the associations most attached to the definition of the word. Inspired by this model, we aim to rethink the conceptualization of the word, “learn”, in French Teaching
ER -
