Actitudes e intención emprendedora en docentes investigadores en Colombia

Attitudes and entrepreneurial intentions of research teachers in Colombia

Resumen

Esta investigación tuvo por objetivos identificar las principales asociaciones entre actitudes e intención emprendedora (IE) de los docentes investigadores en Colombia y develar las principales actitudes que determinan su IE. En cuanto a la metodología utilizada, este trabajo es de carácter correlacional y con enfoque cuantitativo; el diseño es de tipo no experimental transversal; se trabajó con una muestra de 412 docentes universitarios registrados como investigadores en el Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación; para el procesamiento de los datos se utilizaron dos métodos, a saber, correspondencias múltiples y regresión logística. En cuanto a los principales resultados de la investigación, se logró visualizar cuatro tipos de docentes investigadores según la relación entre actitudes e IE, en tanto que de las 16 actitudes estudiadas se identificaron cuatro que influyen en su IE. Las conclusiones más importantes apuntan a que los docentes que manifiestan gusto por crear empresa están asociados con actitudes negativas hacia esta conducta, en tanto que los que ya tienen alguna experiencia emprendedora están relacionados con actitudes positivas; de otra parte, también se concluye que las actitudes sobre aspectos intrínsecos de los docentes investigadores influyen más en su IE que las actitudes sobre aspectos extrínsecos.
